What does Valentines Day mean to me?
With Valentines Day coming up on Tuesday I’m forced to sit back and gather thoughts of what the day really means to me. I have never done this, I have just bowed to norm that everybody who is in love wears red and white and shows the whole world that they have a significant other, well at least that’s how it happened in high school.
Well as clique as it is I celebrate it anyway. I think it’s a day where I celebrate the love I have for my partner together with the rest of the world. A day where I get showed with gifts, love to show appreciation and evoke warm fuzzy feelings through my blood. A day when I get reminded why I fell in love with my partner. So i don’t think I have been accustomed to the norm out of ignorance but rather because I love what the day stands for. Yes I will admit that I have a vague idea of why it came into existence but the is a reason why I haven’t researched on it and that’s because they might be a chance I don’t like this Valentine guy and destroy what the stood for in my heart. If you are in love loose up, tell your partner you love them shower them with love its allowed.
