My Time

I am slightly annoyed and it has to do with how I choose to spend my time. It seems that it bothers people and they feel entitled to having a say in how I want to spend my time. I am a whole 23 years and I have been capable of making decisions,  I really do not need a cloned personality of who I am to be to dictate my time. It PISSES THE SHiiiiT out of me...!!!

My Birthday

On the 6 July it was birthday, and after discovering The Muffinz i make any excuse possible just  to go and see them perform live. On the 7th July they were performing  at Cats Pajamaz together with Tidal Waves, Within The Fridge And Blk Jks. So i decided to invite all my friends to go and see them perform. From the list above the only band whom i wasn't really familiar with was Tidal Waves, prior to the event i had gotten their cd from a friend. i liked them but wasn't really sold of on them, until i saw them perform.

The Muffinz, i honestly think that this band has the talent that can take them beyond South africa. A lot of time and effort was put into producing their Cd, the sound quality is really good, take it from someone like me who plays music on full blast. I believe that i need almost feel the beat bouncing from my chest and the Muffinz do just that.

Blk Jk, this band has been around for quite sometime, they  are some African rock group. their instrumentals are really awesome
Tidal Waves, is a reggae group they have been around for quite some time they have 2 cds out in stores

Within The Fridge is a 3 piece band that has Sam who used to be apart of the Soil, i asked him why he left and he said that things didn't workout. i really enjoy listening to him sing, so much that i could even pick it up when he wasn't part of The soil. The Fridge is doing quite well so im really excited about them releasing an album soon.

Arts on Main

Arts On Main is a street in Johannesburg where those who appreciate the arts can go and chill. the whole street is a buzz of Johannesburg beauty, and breathe of fresh air away from the riff raff that is always associated with Johannesburg CBD. So a while back i suggested that we go out for supper with my family at Pata Pata. Sedikane was in home for recess so we took full advantage of this opportunity.

In the picture above is (in order from the left) Sedikane, Bonolo, Thopa, Me and Dinao
Above is me, these pictures were taken at the Art Galary on Arts on Main

 Thopa and Bonolo looking serious

Diano and Sedikane, lol Sedikane is posing like a taxi driver from Bree.

I would strongly advise people to visit Arts on Main sometime in the future it is i really a wonderful place to be at, put it in your bucket list.  :)

Sedikane Lerutla

I know it has been a while since I last blogged, I have been so caught up in work it’s hard to try and manage your time when you do not work for government, in my line of work, work doesn’t end at work.  You guys need not worry I haven’t forgotten about yol, this blog is my life I’m not going to quit blogging just yet. In this blog I   have featured my cousin Sedikane Lerutla . He is a 3rd year Politics student and a fashionista of note. I would like to add that he wasn’t always like this, according to me his style took a new leaf when he went to varsity. He would wear things that were somewhat peculiar to what he normally wears and being the only Afrocentric person in the family I could spot where he was heading.  Recently he has shocked the family with his fashion forward at well thought outfits take a look. the one above is my best i think he looks so chilled, makes a statement with not much effort into the outfit.

that is a photo of him having drinks at Spur with his friends

And don't you just love those shades?

Now this look kills me, it so effortless and striking.

here are those shades again *smiles*

The black blazer, cream shorts and man bag gels so well, but then again all his outfits are amazing.
Do you guys think he has a short at being the next Dion Chang ? i think so he doesn't try to had its natural and the the style suits him.GQ's next best dressed male
Till we meet again lovies xoxoxoxo

New Tswane Logo

On the 27th of March i got a text from Bridget it reads "Goodmoring PLEASE watch Dstv channel 408, Ikwekwezi fm or You tube channel 408 instead at 10am". i was baffled  for  about to few seconds and then i remembered that  she was a finalist in designing the new Tswane logo .

i listened to Ikwekwezi for a few hours but i was held up in a pile work i couldn't listen for long, but in a nut shell they won the competition. I was beside myself with excitement thinking of the perks this would mean for her (ok I'm lying i was envisioning what this means for me lol). She called me later and she was so excited you could hear it in her voice, but it was what she said she going to do with the money that really killed me lol that is so her. They really deserve it i know Bridget is going places and yes she is taking me with her hahahahha.
below is the new logo WELL DONE FRIEND!!!!!!

So Beyonce's baby sister signed a contract with Vouge uk to document what she is wearing everyday for  29 days this happened throughout February .Now Solange is my style icon she gives clothes and fabrics character the clothes she wears tells a story, most times i feel like I'm reading her journal like she is my friend and i know the most intricate details of her life. Above i have attached a few of the outfits she wore , breath taking even the hairstyles are beautiful.

Kem Concert

On the 3March I went to the Kem Owens Concert what a moving experience.  The people looked lovely dressed to the nines; you could feel the love in the air. I was so warmed by how many men came to the concert with their better halves, it made being in love so worth it. The concert was at the Eliis Park Indoor Arena, the place isn’t that big so the concert was very intimate and of course Kem was engaging us throughout the show. I wished it never had to end; I wouldn’t mind living my life in arena with Kem singing for the rest of my life. He is gifted, his vocals at show where as good as on his Cd’s and No he wasn’t miming he had full live band. I could feel my tears drawing closer as he sang “Why would you say” the song is that deep for me. If you know me then you know I let the tears stream down my cheeks.
this was my outfit for the night i love it...!

MUSIC

I often sit up at night listening to your melodic whispers caressing my neck all the way done to my spin
And dreaming of the day we finally meet
The day that you are tangible enough for me to wrap you tightly in my arms and never let you go
The day the taste of your kiss will see through my heart
And silence the nerves
The day that I will be mersmerised by your beauty
The day that you will lift me up in the air only to catch me again
The day we will stroll hand in hand with random kisses on the forehead
The day that forever begins
Do you all the beautiful things people say about you?
They say you have the power to connect two souls
The power to heal and mend the broken
The ability to take people through vivid personified beauty in the mind
I smile when I hear all these things about you
wanting to carry my heart and legs and run to the future
To meet you
So that forever can start
I love you
I mean it
My heart belongs to you
I know you love me too
I will wait for you
However long it takes

LINDIWE MATOLENGWE

This young lady is a 3rd year film student at City Varsity. She has been my friend since grade four and I say this from deepest part of my soul, that when you define beauty you do not leave this girl out. She is an African queen her beauty is rare but stares at you right in the face, you cannot miss her even if you wanted to.
These pictures were taken for a school mate’s photography assignment, I had one look at them and I knew she had to be a part of my blog.I have been nagging her for years to become a model, I don’t know if she hasn’t done so because she doesn’t want me hogging her spotlight (giggles) or because she is shy, but I pray  that God drops someone on  her door step who is eager to showcase her beauty to the world
These are the pictures that really stood out for me her timeless beauty excites my entire being. xoxo
